Finding a product

The most common way to look for a product is by clicking on "Categories" button on the menu bar, to view the various product categories. An alternative is to view the full list of products (in alphabetical order) by clicking on "Product List" on the menu bar. A third option is to use the search bar, located on the right-hand side at the top of each page, above the menu bar. In our catalogue pages, you will find photos for each item with a short description and prices. Click on the photo to view a large version of the photo and full description of the product.

Currencies

By default, all prices are in American Dollard (USD). To change currencies, click on the icon corresponding to the desired currency. Transactions are processed in the selected currency.

Pricing

Our prices are lower than our competition as we do not incur the costs associated with the operation of retail stores.

Shopping Cart

On most of our pages, you will see an "Add to Cart" button preceeding each item.

To add items to the Shopping Cart:

  • Enter the desired quantity "(Qty)"
  • Select the desired output power (if the option exists)
  • Click "Add to Cart" to add the product to the shopping cart.

The Shopping Cart holds all items that were added to it, with a full description of the items including prices. To view the contents of the shopping, click on the "Shopping Cart" located at the top of the page on the right-hand side. To remove an item from the shopping cart, click on "remove" button. To clear the shopping cart, click on the "Empty Cart" button.

Shipping costs and delivery time

All shipping is by Air Mail. The shipping cost depends on the weight of the package and the country of destination. Please select a destination from the list of countries in the menu. The shipping cost will be shown and will be added to the price of the products. Regular mail is the default shipping method. For some countries, express shipping is available. To obtain the cost of this service, click on the "Express" option. If the destination is Canada, please indicate the province to calculate the sales taxes. For priority or overnight delivery by carriers such as FEDEX, UPS DHL, please ask for prices. FOr this purpose you can use the comments box in the order form. We will notify you by e-mail before processing your order. Below is an approximate chart for estimating shipping charges.

Warranty

The manufacturer warrants its products to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year. Modules however, have a warranty of only 3 months. This warranty (excluding batteries and refill items for pens) is solely limited to the repair and replacement of original parts that are defective in workmanship or materials.

Security

Experts say e-commerce transactions are safer than ordinary credit card purchases. Every time you make a purchase by credit card at a store, in a restaurant, or over an 800 number, and every time you throw away a credit card receipt, you make yourself vulnerable to fraud.

In current day and age, transactions over the Internet can be encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a protocol that creates a secure connection to a server, protecting the information as it travels over the Internet. SSL uses public key encryption, one of the strongest encryption methods around.

In most browsers a lock icon indicates the website is secured with SSL. THis indicator is on the same line as the address bar. The certificate that is used to encrypt the connection also contains information about the identity of the website owner or organization. You can click the lock icon to view the identity of the website. Another way to tell that a Web site is secured by SSL is when the URL begins with "https" instead of just "http".

No system can guarantee 100-percent protection for purchases by credit card regadless of how and where they are made, but increased security renders shopping safer.

Ordering

When you are finished shopping, click on the "Checkout" button to go to the secure order form. You will see listed the contents of your shopping cart including prices and shipping fees. You will be asked to provide contact information, billing and shipping address as well as payment information.

  • Please make sure the provided email address is correct, in order to confirm your order within 24 hours.
  • Enter your name and address.
  • Select your credit card and enter the credit card number, the expiration date and the cardholder's name.
